Basil Collier was born in Modesto, CA, and hasn't stopped drawing ever since. They have always been inspired by animals, nature, and inexplicably nostalgic imagery. Combining that with the fun of mythical creatures, folk tales, and fiber art is what drives them to create complex illustrations and designs that seem to come from another world.

As a mixed media artist they go with the flow and work with digital programs, fiber, paint, paper, resin, fabric, pencil, and even sometimes creating huge murals!
